Popis: | The generation of spatial subharmonics in BSO is characterized experimentally. The frequency shift of the subharmonic beam is measured in heterodyne detection, threshold values for the subharmonic generation are measured, and the optimum frequency shift is measured. Moreover, it is found that the measured characteristics of the subharmonic beam are strongly dependent on which of the pump beams is the stronger one. These observed experimental anomalies have no theoretical explanation yet. |
