Popis: | Results of studies of the surface and wear characteristics of roller—pad friction pairs in burn-in tests with motor oil treated with ultrasound at different frequencies are presented. It has been found that the treatment of oil with ultrasound at a frequency of 17 kHz leads to an increase in the pre-score load by 22.2% and a decrease in the friction coefficient by 13.1% with the optimal load increasing by 12.5%. The treatment of oil at a frequency of 12 kHz results in an increase in the score resistance by 6.5% and a decrease in the friction coefficient by 3.6%. The optimal load does not change in this case compared with the results of tests conducted using untreated oil. When the oil was treated at a frequency of 8 kHz, no significant differences between the values under study were observed. A decrease in the value of roughness parameter Ra for the samples treated with ultrasound at a frequency of 17 kHz by 50% and 78.2% was established for the roller and pad, respectively. |
