Popis: | In the past decades, cancer has become the most serious threat for people’s health. The traditional treating methods for cancer including chemotherapy and radiation therapy would cause severe side effects, which restrict the treating effectiveness for tumors. Recently, magnetic induction hyperthermia (MIH) was proved to have great potential for cancer therapy owing to their advantages including excellent targeting ability and high safety. With the development of nanotechnology, magnetic nanoparticles such as iron oxide and their composites have been widely applied for MIH, and improved treating effectiveness was obtained. Besides, great progress was also made for the combination of MIH and other treating methods. In this review, we firstly summarized the methods for improving the heating generation efficiency of magnetic NPs, which is the key to the treating effectiveness. Then we summarized recent development for MIH and their combination therapy based on the current reports. Finally, the current challenge and prospects were proposed. |
