Popis: A simple electronic light intensity monitor device has been built for a photomultiplier which is used as a detector in a reflection modulation experiment. The system consists of a differential amplifier. This varies the high voltage applied to the phototube, so that a plot of Delta R/R against wavelength is obtained, which only needs to be modified by a scaling factor. An electroreflectance spectrum of gallium selenide, obtained by the servo system, is also shown.
