The subject of this work is the study of the effect of bamboo cellulose on the performance of electrical insulation paper, which has been produced from the mentioned raw materials according to Russian technology for the first time. The research is carried out within the framework of the International Agreement No 772 of 24 September 2017 between SPbPU and Binh Duong University (the Socialist Republic of Vietnam). The relevance and practical significance of the topic are conditioned by the identification of prospects for the use of this cereal plant as a self-reproducing raw material for the production of high-voltage EIP in Vietnam (in perspective, possibly, in the Russian Federation), as well as the expansion of ideas about the relationship between the features of cellulose fibre and the performance of the components of paper-impregnated insulation. The electrophysical and mechanical properties of experimental samples of paper made of bamboo and bacterial cellulose were investigated; their composition by fibre, comparative heat resistance (by changing the mechanical tensile strength), and sorption capacity (by optical methods) were determined. The results of the study are compared with similar characteristics of the traditionally used EIP made of pine pulp. The obtained data allowed us to conclude that bamboo cellulose is a promising fibre for the creation of high-voltage dielectrics, both for the Republic of Vietnam (from 6 national raw materials) and for Russia. The conclusion is based on the superiority in several indicators of EIP made of bamboo (adapted to the climate of the Russian Federation) over the prototype made of pine, which is of significant importance from the point of view of ecology and forest conservation. |
