Hybrid Symmetrical Cascaded Multilevel Inverter having reduced number of Switches and DC Sources

Popis: In multilevel inverter (MLI), a series of several power switches with many low voltage dc sources are utilized in order to synthesize a staircase voltage waveform. Multilevel converter has several advantages compared to traditional multilevel inverter. In this paper a new modified topology along with its cascaded connection have been proposed. This paper also talked about their symmetrical and asymmetrical configurations along with their voltage THDs and current THDs also. Their performances have been analyzed at different modulation index. Finally simulations are carried out in MATLAB 18b platform.
