Popis: Methods for accurately measuring surface and fluid temperatures during steady-state and transient conditions have been studied. Most of the temperature measurements are made on test sections that are resistance heated by passing d-c current through them. Because of very limited space for sensors and other practical considerations, thermocouples, using two types of high temperature insulation in a temperature range of from 100 to 1200 deg F, were considered.
