Popis: In the era of wireless communication, mobile ad-hoc networks has identified as invisible part for communication between autonomous nodes. A MANET contains arbitrarily moving nodes. All the moving and stationary nodes are permitted to communicate to each other over the wireless communication link. Due to the infrastructure less network, these autonomous nodes can join or leave the network at any instant of time. This network has some unique characteristics such as unfixed infrastructure, dynamic topology, open medium, lack of central coordinator, limited bandwidth, limited battery power, etc. In this paper, we use NS2.34 to examine and evaluate the AODV, DSR and DSDV routing protocols in a MANET. The performance of these protocols evaluated to PDR, end-to-end delay, control overhead, and throughput. The reactive routing protocol AODV performs well with increasing both the number of nodes and movement speed.
