Popis: | VCO finds role in a wide variety of applications. The frequency of the signal generated by VCO depends on its input signal. Anti phase coupling is generally followed in VCOto obtain minimum chip area. But in such designs the dc coupling and phase noise is higher. In this work, quadrature phase coupling is used with the help of transformer to decrease phase noise in VCO and it is designed in cadence 180nm technology. The DC and AC analysis of VCO are shown. By the concept of injection locking in VCO circuit, the quadrature error is also reduced. |
