Popis:	A mathematical model is presented for calculating a median line or lines for a set of weighted points on a plane. The model has applications in the design of transportation corridors, and is illustrated by an example. The line or corridor derived using the model is defined as the one that minimises the sum of weighted perpendiculars from the points to the line.
