Massive MIMO systems are planned to be widely used in 5G networks due to their high spectral efficiency. However, for large number of antennas, the complexity of digital signal processing increases significantly. Very urgent is the task of developing new demodulation algorithms with acceptable computational complexity and high efficiency. In this paper, we propose a nonlinear demodulation algorithm based on the Chebyshev iterative method that does not require knowledge of the eigenvalues of the MIMO channel matrix. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm we compare it with a demodulator that is optimal according to the criteria of minimum mean square error (MMSE), which has the same order of complexity. |
