Popis:	A method is proposed for generating feedback control for distributed parameter systems with quadratic performance indices which depends on knowledge of the state of the system at discrete points. The method is then applied to the temperature control of a uniform bar and the resulting performance index is compared with the optimal system. It is shown that the sensitivity to variations in the parameters is easily estimated.
