In this report the data analyses for the VIP experiment, which took data at the LNGS-INFN laboratory in the period 2006-2010, is presented in detail, together with the final result on the limit of the Pauli Exclusion Principle (PEP) probability for electrons. The data analysis is performed by using the ROOT software, in the first part without the refined charge transport correction, while in the second part with an optimized procedure for the charge transport correction for the Charged-Coupled Devices (CCDs). After introducing the structure of the data files, the cuts made to get the files available for the refined analysis are described. All the steps to obtain the final histograms and the fit results are presented in detail, together with the calculations for the identification of the region of interest and of the limit for the PEP violation probability. |
