A New Distributed Strategy to Find a Bi-objective Optimal Path Toward a Parking in the City

Popis: Car production has increased, which has caused an increase in the number of cars in the city. On the other hand, due to the disorganization of parking spaces in the city the demands of drivers to find the nearest parking spaces have increased to avoid traffic jams in these areas. Today, several cities have adopted the concept of Internet of Things (IoT) to improve quality of the city. Many problems have been resolved by the IoT, such as road traffic and parking space management. This paper presents a new system that will allow a vehicle driver to find the optimal path toward a parking in the city taking into consideration the number of available places in each parking. Our system is based on distributed swarm intelligence strategy using the ant colony algorithm and multi-agent systems.
