Popis: | Allelic count is an important measure of genetic diversity. However, it is a function of sample size and its estimation and interpretation can be biased. Previously, we introduced a random permutation method named FPTest to test the differences in allelic count among oat germplasm groups of variable sample size (Fu et al., Crop Sci 43:1989–1995, 2003) and published a SAS routine for it to facilitate its application (Fu, Mol Ecol Resour 10:398–392, 2010). Here we present an R version of FPTest called FPTestR. This R version considers six types of large marker data and generates four to five output files, making the test more accessible and useful in genetic diversity analysis. |
