Popis:	Two oligonucleotides containing FdU (1) have been synthesized. The use of the “Pac-amidites” for the natural nucleosides has allowed the incorporation of the oxidized thymine residue without protection of the aldehydic function. The oligonucleotide composition was confirmed by enzymatic digestion and electrospray mass spectrometry.
