Popis: | Users of time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometers are frequently plagued with problems in determining the m/e's of peaks in the spectrum. The problems become especially difficult when there are regions in the spectrum where there are few m/e's to assist in the counting One method suggested to assist in the m/e determination uses perfluoroalkyl-s- triazines as mass calibration standards to provide internal reference peaks. However, use of these internal calibration standards sometimes masks the intensities of ions of interest and interpolation or extrapolation is often required on a nonlinear record chart to make the determination. |
