On Friday, November 13, 2020, the opening and plenary session of the Second All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation Social Meanings of Sports Spirituality (Armavir, November 13-14, 2020) took place in the South of Russia. Within the framework of the conference, remote forms of scientific communication were used due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Scientists from different parts of Russia and students took an active part in the discussions. Not all discussions of scientific events, as a rule, end up in official collections of materials. Students are such a collective correspondent who, with the help of mentors (teachers), is able to prepare discussion questions not included in official collections for publication, as well as stimulate the readers' interest in scientific literature. The project Much Round Table is a practical part of the course Introduction to the Culture of Scientific Communication, on which I have been working for several years. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Irina Vladimirovna Kalus, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Literature at the Moscow State Institute of Culture for the fact that she was able to interest students in participating in scientific events and preparing this collection of discussions. For students, working on a collection is a good practice of mastering the culture of scientific communication. Scientists are primarily interested in popularizing science. Therefore, the possible income from the sale of the collection is directed to charity, and the entire project, according to the author's plan, is non-commercial. Read more about the project in the Afterword. |
