The T4 Stalker Tube was conceived by Ray Stalker and has been in operation at The University of Queensland since it was commissioned in 1987. The tunnel was designed to be capable of reproducing conditions for scramjet operation and most of its more than 11,800 shots have been related to scramjet testing. This paper presents an overview of the tunnel and its capabilities and the types of data that it is capable of producing. |
