Popis:	The action principle holds a central position in renormalized field theory, since it controls the variation of renormalized Green's functions with respect to field transformations (important examples are the Ward-Takahashi and the Slavnov-Taylor-identities). Therefore an investigation of its proof will also shed some light on the prerequisites of its applicability. Since we are working with renormalized quantities a well-fit framework for the proof of the action principle is provided by the BPHZ-scheme of renormalization.
