Tinospora cordifolia belongs to woodely climbing shrub which widely distributed throughout India, China and Africa etc. Its common name is Amrita and Gudachi belongs to family Menispermaceae. The root, stem and leaves of plants have main pharmaceutical significance various phyto active compounds it involves alkaloids steroids glycoside lactones polysaccharides are present in different parts of the Tinospora cordifolia. |
