Popis: | 1. It has been shown that the rate of wax oxidation in the presence of an equimolecular mixture of manganese and potassium acetates is close to that observed when potassium permanganate or Mn-K soaps are used. The acids produced are characterized by low ester values. 2. A method has been developed for preparing a Mn-K (Na) catalyst based on the salts from low molecular weight acids and manganese carbonate or its ores. The activity of the catalyst is somewhat lower than that of an equimolecular mixture of manganese and potassium acetates. |
