Popis:	A study has been made of acrylonitrile polymerization in the presence of an organolithium initiator based on living polyvinylpyridine modified with dimethylformamide. Using this initiator it is possible to prepare polyacrylonitrile with Mr above 200,000 containing controlled amounts of bound vinylpyridine.
