Popis: | In a previous paper (1989, Pestic. Biochem. Physiol. 33, 283–297), on a hydrolytic enzyme as a cause of resistance, Anber and I reported that it had a k3 value for paraoxon of 0.14 per hour. It is shown here that this is impossible, and that the enzyme should have a k3 value on the order of 1500 times larger, or about 200 per hour. |
