Popis: | Data on the rate of stratospheric ozone destruction in the Ox, HOx, NOx, ClOx, and BrOx catalytic cycles in the Northern Hemisphere in the latitude range of 10°–80° for December and June 1995 are provided. The data for the calculations are obtained using the SOCRATES interactive two-dimensional radiation and chemical model. The RCP 4.5 scenarios of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for the weather conditions of December and June 1995 are used as initial conditions. It is shown that the nitric oxide (NOx), hydrogen (HOx), and oxygen (Ox) cycles have the largest contribution to the destruction of stratospheric ozone during the period under consideration, and this contribution (as well as the contribution of other cycles) substantially changes with season and altitude. |
