Dynamics of the subsistence minimum on discomfort territories of East Siberia

Popis:	An analysis is made of the decline in the quality of life of the population in municipal districts of East Siberia under conditions of climatic and socioeconomic discomfort. The study revealed a correlation between the low subsistence level of the northern territories and the increase in the ratio of mortality/birthrate indices. We suggest a technique for calculating the subsistence level having regard to the degree of climatic discomfort and the poor transport infrastructure.
