Evidence for a resonant structure in inclusive Cu(p,π+)X reactions between 300 and 400 MeV

Popis:	The energy spectra of positive pions between 23 and 122 MeV produced by protons of 300 to 400 MeV on copper have been measured at 90° in the laboratory frame. A surprisingly narrow structure (FWHM ⪅ 10 MeV) is observed for low energy pions at Tplab=350 MeV.
