HELMINTHOSIS AS A BIOLOGICAL AND MEDICAL PROBLEM

Popis: Enormous pollution of the environment exacerbates the parasitic situation, which stipulates its urgency. Objective – to generalize medical and biological problems of helminthiasis and to determine the main directions of the disease prevention and treatment. The problem of helminthiasis spread, mechanisms of parasite infection were considered,information concerning parasite development cycles and life expectancy of helminths in the human body were generalized, the impact on the human body and changes in organs and tissues that occur in helminthiasis were determined, peculiarity of the clinical manifestations and disease diagnosis were indicated at, specific features of preventive measures with enterobiosis and the main causes of high incidence of helminthiasis were determined. Conclusion. Development and implementation of a modern strategy of parasitic control, the use of the latest detection methods, timely diagnosis and treatment of patients with helminthiasis and prevention of helminthiasis are the main tasks to ensure the safety of the human life.
