Popis: | Expressions for time-domain (TD) scattered fields from a finite perfectly electrically conducting (PEC) cylinder with one end open and one end closed have been obtained using time-domain physical optics (TDPO) and time-domain geometrical theory of diffraction (TDGTD). The TDGTD coefficient according to Veruttipong has been used to calculate the TDGTD scattered fields. Important results including a comparison of the TDPO and TDGTD results are discussed. Some closed-end scattering results of the cylinder have been compared with Dominek's recent investigations on disk scattering and are found to agree. © 1992 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. |
