Popis:	In terms of the resistance to the action of fluoride slag ANF-6, the refractories that were tested should be arranged in the following decreasing order: pure graphite → silicon carbide-containing → magnesite-containing → zircon → graphitic → aluminosilicate. The most promising material for use in service is silicon-nitride bonded silicon carbide, due to its combination of high slag resistance and spalling resistance, without any marked reaction with molten metal.
