η3-allymetal and mixed η3-allymetal—sulfur clusters of nickel, palladium and platinum as catalysts for the hydrogenation of hexyne-3

Popis:	A number of η 3 -allylmetal or mixed η 3 -allylmetal—sulfur clusters of the type [η 3 -C 3 H 5 MS(η 3 -C 3 H 5 )M′] x , M, M′ = Ni, Pd, Pt, have been investigated as catalysts for the hydrogenation of hexyne-3 under ambient conditions. The pure palladium clusters and the mixed palladium—platinum cluster are catalysts for alkyne to cis -alkene hydrogenation and for alkene isomerization, while the pure platinum cluster proved to be a non-selective alkyne and alkene hydrogenation catalyst.
