This paper discusses the design and effectiveness of a rotating stirrer for a reverberation chamber. The efficiency of a stirrer at an existing reverberation chamber was deduced with the help of standard performance indicators. Electromagnetic simulation was performed on the 3D model of the chamber and a criteria based approach was used to design two new stirrers. The effectiveness of the criteria, was verified through the improvement in simulated results of the new designs over the original stirrer. |
