Popis: | The effect of corona discharge on the initiation of detonation in a shock tube was studied. The dependence of the wave propagation velocity of the combustion reaction of a propane-butane mixture at dif- ferent stoichiometric ratios on the amount of admixed nitrogen was measured. It was concluded that the corona initiation of detonation is more effective than the conventional spark initiation. |
