Popis: | On the substance of the new climate changes and increasing human pressure, problems related to the scarcity of water resources would become more and moreconstraining. In Morocco, the absence of legislative texts related to low flow weakens the governance of water management. Low water refers to the groundwater resource; hence, to the lower limit of the available water resources in a watershed. For this reason, the statistical analysis of these values is fundamental to rational use and management of water resources. Indeed, understanding the depletion phenomenon that leads to low flow, and the relationship with the annual precipitations, bring the keys to efficient and predictive management of water resources for strategic basins. This research presents a statistical analysis of low flow rates of the High Sebou from the flow stations and Azzaba Bridge Mdez. The choice of these two stations is justified by the chronic long observation and quality of values relative to other stations.
