Popis: | Polymer Electrolyte Membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) is a promising power source for automobiles in the near future. Polymers are usually used as the sealing or gasket materials in PEM fuel cells and they are viscoelastic materials. The stress relaxation behavior of a polymer, liquid silicone rubber, is studied in different media The result shows that the relaxation mechanism remains the same with the specimen in ambient air from 25°C to 120°C, however, it is changed by the introduction of water, and the changed mechanism cause the failure of Arrhenius equation for life estimation, but time temperature superposition still works well. |
