Popis:	During May 1985, the Seafloor Benchmark Positioning System (SBPS) Experiment was conducted about 35 km off Monterey California. In this experiment, the position of the R/V ACANIA was determinined by Global Positioning System receivers. Concurrently, acoustic positioning, miniranger positioning and other data sets were collected.
