Popis:	Rb was discovered by Kirchof and Bunsen in 1861. Widely distributed throughout nature (Perelman 1965) and animal tissues (Bertrand and Bertrand 1946) it belongs to the group 1A alkali metals just like potassium, sodium, cesium, and lithium. The first human clinical use of Rb and its effect on ten cardiac patients was described by Botkin in 1988; a subjective sense of well-being associated with increased blood pressure and decreased pulse rate was reported.
