Continuing the appropriation of social phenomenology for theology that he began to make in Ecclesial Man, Farley now in this second volume of prolegomena offers "an anatomy of theological method" displaying theological understanding as "ecclesial reflection." With the emergence of this new book readers may grasp more clearly not only the nature of Farley's theological achievement, but also his relationship to other contemporary theological approaches.
