Popis: | In the photovoltaic system, the load imposes its own characteristic on the output power. Therefore, a power stage controlled by an MPPT algorithm should be designed and inserted between the load and the PV panel in order to extract the maximum energy. In this paper, an experimental method for MPPT of a photovoltaic system under climatic conditions is proposed. The proposed method is built around two DC/DC converters connected in series. The first one is a step-up voltage converter with a fixed duty cycle while the second one is a standard buck converter. This control method is simple to implement. It is based on observations and measurements made in open loop under variable climatic conditions. It requires the measurement of the irradiance and the temperature, then, it refers to an experimental database to send the optimum duty cycle to the buck converter. The proposed control is verified through experiments in real-time using the dSPACE DS1104 to prove its simplicity and good efficiency. The tracking efficiency of the maximum power is above 93% and it can be improved by enriching the experimental database. |
