Popis: We demonstrate telecom-wavelength microcavities stabilized by dielectric metasurfaces. The approach achieves microcavities with quality factors exceeding 3300 using prevalent semiconductor manufacturing processes and opens the near-arbitrary field control of metasurfaces to cavity electrodynamics.
