Popis: X-ray diffraction and spectral data obtained by studying different types of native and modified human and animal tissues are reported. It has been found that the proteoglycan structure undergoes transformation upon interaction with calcium cations. The role of the extracellular matrix in the structure of the native tissue is discussed.
