Popis: | Monoctonus montenegrinus Petrović & Tomanović sp. n. (Fig. 2) Holotype. Female. Montenegro, Prokletije Mt. Pepići-Visitor, 07. 2006., reared from Amphorophora sp. on Rubus sp., coll. ŽeljkoTomanović. Holotype slide mounted and deposited in the collection of Institute of zoology, Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade. Diagnosis. Monoctonus montenegrinus sp. n. differs from almost all other Monoctonus species by having 18 antennomeres, while almost all other species possess 12–16 antennomeres. The only other species with identical number of antennomeres is M. parvipalpus Čkrkić, Petrović & Tomanović. However, M. montenegrinus differs from M. parvipalpus in having labial palps with three palpomeres and an elongated petiolus with a 2.6 length/width ratio at the level of spiracles, while M. parvipalpus has labial palps with one palpomere and 2.0 lenght/width ratio of petiole at the level of spiracles. Female. Head (Fig. 2c). Eyes oval, medium sized. Malar space equal to 0.35 of longitudinal eye diameter. Clypeus oval with about 10 long setae. Tentorial index approx. 0.49. Maxillary palps with four palpomeres, labial palps with three palpomeres (Fig. 2c). Antenna with 18 antennomeres, filiform, setae on flagellomeres semierect, subequal to flagellomere diameter (Fig. 2a). Flagellomere 1 (F1) approx. 5.45 × as long as wide, without longitudinal placodes. F2 approx. 4.1 × as long as wide, with single short longitudinal placode. F3, F4 and F5 with 2, 3, 6 longitudinal placodes respectively. F1 1.13 × longer than F2 (Fig. 2b). Mesosoma. Propodeum areolated with pentagonal central areola, with 6 hairs in the external and 2-3 hairs in the dentiparal areolae (Fig. 2d). Fore wing (Fig. 2g). Wing length approx. 2.8 mm, width approx. 1.1 mm. Pterostigma approx. 5.5 × as long as wide and approx. 2.8 × as long as distal abscissa of R1; 2RS vein colorless at the proximity of m-cu vein. 3RS/r ratio approx. 1.45. Metasoma. Petiole approx. 2.6 × as long as wide at spiracles (Fig. 2e). Dorsal disc of petiole rugose. Ovipositor sheaths length/maximum width ratio approx. 4.0 (Fig. 2f). Colour. Head orange. Eyes black. Mouthparts yellow. Clypeus yellowish. Mandibles yellowish with dark apices. Scapus yellow, pedicel yellowish-brown with yellow ring at the base, F1 yellow in the first 2/3, remainder of antenna brown. Thorax light brown. Wings hyaline with brown venation. Petiole light brown. Rest of metasoma yellowish-brown. Male: unknown. Host: Amphorophora sp. on Rubus sp. Distribution: Montenegro Etymology: The name of the new species comes from country where the holotype specimen is recorded.
