The floating monitoring station is a catamaran platform, equipped with submersible automatic program-controlled gamma-spectrometer based on the HPGe detector with efficiency 38%. Its design and electronics diagram are presented. Calibration for station's submersible spectrometer was carried out using standard solution with volumetric activities A=5,68.10/sup 4/ Bq/m/sup 3/ for Eu-152 and A=3,81.10/sup 4/ Bq/m/sup 3/ for Ba-133. The main relative error of volumetric activity did not exceed /spl plusmn/5%. Detection limits were defined for different radionuclides. The results have shown that detection limit for radionuclide Cs-137 at measurement time 1 hour does not exceed 115 Bq/m/sup 3/. The station doesn't require application of water inlet equipment and executes monitoring for radionuclides volumetric activity in water practically in real time. |
