Popis: | The Banff classification for allograft pathology represents the international consensus for diagnostics in organ transplantation1 . Since its inception in 1991 constant refinement of the classification was necessary due to novel insights into mechanisms and phenotypes of allograft rejection, related pathologies and new diagnostic technologies emerging. Together this allowed for increased diagnostic precision, but came at the expense of an increasingly complex classification challenging its use in daily practice2 . |
