Selected Possibility of Using MEMS to Assess the Demand and Transmission Capacity of Electric Power Systems

Popis: The development and expansion of power grids is now a priority direction for many countries. In order to optimize processes and increase the reliability of power grids operation, MEMS technologies should be used, which can ensure this. Therefore, this article will present the possibilities of developing MEMS for the assessment of the demand and transmission capacity of power systems. The proposal contained in this article will concern the analysis of the change in power demand over time and transmission limitations caused by the peculiarities of overhead lines and power stations.In this article, the methodology for assessing the capacity of the power grid will be analyzed in detail on the example of a medium voltage overhead line with a rated voltage of 30 kV. In addition, the proposed methodology provides for its use in order to analyze power grids in terms of other rated voltages (110 kV, 220 kV, etc.)
