Popis:	In this article, we discuss the exponential and the logarithmic functions in the realm of matrices. These notions are very useful in the mathematical and the physical sciences [1,2]. We discuss some important results including the connections established between skew-symmetric and orthogonal matrices, etc., through the exponentialmap.
