Popis: | An impacted mesiodens situated in the maxillary midline between the two central incisors is commonly encountered. They may encroach into the base of the nasal cavity or the nasal septum or even erupt into the nose leading to unsolicited sequel. : Conventionally, the surgical removal of an inverted mesiodens is typically performed via an intraoral crevicular, vestibular or transpalatal approach. A novel vertical frenal split technique is put forth for the surgical removal of an inverted mesiodens in the midline. This technique serves as a reliable and safe approach compared to the conventional approaches for surgical removal of bony impacted mesiodens in the midline associated with midline diastema and high frenal attachment. |
