Zilingxi dian He sp. nov. ÷ḙḃae Figs. 3F, 4F, 5F, 6F, 7F Holotype. male, CHINA, Yunnan Prov., Menglun, E 101.28, N 21.92, 19-ix-2017, coll. He Zhu-Qing. Paratypes. 2 males & 2 females, CHINA, Yunnan Prov., Menglun, 19-ix-2017, coll. He Zhu-Qing; 1 female, CHINA, Guangxi Prov., Chongzuo, Ningming, Paiyangshan, E 107.17, N 22.06, 6-vii-2021, coll. He Zhu-Qing. Description. Male. Very similar to Z. danmai (Figs. 3F, 5F). Genitalia: pseudepiphallic apical lobe (ps. a. l.) blunt, pseudepiphallic paramere (ps. p.) possessing two branches, inner pair short and inwards curved, outer pair outwards curved, and as long as ps. a. l. (Fig. 6F). Female. Similar to male. Ovipositor similar to that of Z. danmai (Fig. 7F). Coloration. Very similar to Z. danmai. A black line above clypeus, and extended to frontal rostrum (Fig. 4F), mid-femora possessing a black spot near apex (Fig. 3F). Measurements (in mm). Male: SZ 8.94–9.33, PR 0.85, HF 4.25–4.38; Female: SZ 8.95–9.54, PR 0.71–0.82, HF 3.71–4.22, OV 2.95–3.08. Etymology. The specific epithet dian is for the Chinese phonetic alphabet ÷, which refers to the spot near the apex of mid-femora. Distribution. China (Guangxi, Yunnan) Remarks. Z. dian and Z. danmai were sympatric in Menglun, Yunnan (He Z.-Q. personal observation), but they have different color patterns in frontal rostrum, mid-femora possessing a black spot near apex, and the shape of male genitalia. |
