Energy efficiency assessment of distribution networks

Popis: This paper discusses the effectiveness and evaluation of the modes of distributed networks with a voltage of 33/11 kV. Using the example of a fragment of the distribution networks, the features of their construction and the main parameters are analyzed. The calculation of steady-state and post-emergency operation modes in the RastrWin software package was performed, which showed that voltage and power losses in the branches of the distribution network exceed the limit values. The classification of technical measures contributing to partial unloading of the network and increasing the capacity of power lines is given. The power values of additional sources in the form of distributed generation are taken in such a way as to compensate for the power losses in the corresponding connection nodes. An assessment of the efficiency distribution networks, taking into account the use of distributed generation, confirmed a significant reduction in voltage and capacity losses in the network branches and thereby an increase in electricity quality indicators.
