Popis: This chapter details the methodological approach that guides our study. We begin by characterizing our underlying approach as inherently pluralist and not excessively driven by concerns over generalizability. Next, we provide an argument for the added value of including refugee voices when considering the integration process, stressing that we see their inclusion as providing important missing data to be factored in alongside that which can be obtained from more standard accounts. Following this, we detail the choices made when collecting and analyzing refugee voices through the use of life narratives, individual semi-structured interviews, and group interviews. Finally, we call attention to how our data results from multiple smaller projects, highlighting potential concerns, yet emphasizing how this data is still fit for purpose.
